Here comes the Easter Bunny!

Hope everyone had a great Easter! I know the Riggs family did!!!!! We had the Easter dinner and Hunt at our house again this year. What fun! :)

So what time do your kids get you up on Easter morning? Or, any Holiday for that matter?!?!?!

Mine..... well, Amelia tried to get Maddy up at 2am! Maddy told her to go back to bed then woke her up again at 4am!!!! (Our bunny hides baskets) The girls woke up on a mission to find their baskets....in the DARK mind you! Maddy found hers RIGHT away...eagle eyes! Mr. Bunny had put hers atop the vintage suitcases....Amelia was another story! They searched the house high and low....NOT wanting to awake the adults, the lights still off and staying out of our room and the spare room that my mother in law was in. :) Finally they had searched the entire house and was time to take risks....Of course not our room...they started in grandmas room!  Knowing that GRANDMA wouldn't yell at them for being up in the middle of the night. Welp, good guess on their part....the basket was hidden in the armoire upon one of its shelves. it was not long after that, that I started to wake up. Pippa our kitty was being soooo hyper, not her usual middle of the night self! She kept bringing her toys into my bed and dropping them on me! So finally wide awake, I searched my bed for her bottle caps to throw one for her and they are pieces of plastic eggs! :) Eggs from the girls baskets! I look and see their room door open and go downstairs. Grandmas light is on. I hear giggles from her room, usually snoring I assume the girls are in there with her! GOOD GUESS!!!! They were elbow deep in their baskets....Amelia (the candy freak) had already devoured 2- peeps and a Reese Egg!!!! OMG!!!!!!!! GRANDMA!!!! :) A few minutes after i come downstairs, Tim comes down too! He's MUCH stronger than me.... he made us all go back to bed.

Needless to say it was a great day with family and friends! Tired BUT great! Thanks FAM!
